Suggest a Feature is now live on the Certly website. It gives you a straightforward way to tell the team about a new certificate, a useful feature, an improvement or general feedback.

Built around the way you work

Electrical certification software should fit the people using it. Whether you’re recording test results on site, organising certificates in the office or reviewing work with your team, you’ll have your own view of what would help.

Perhaps there’s a certificate you’d like to see in Certly. Maybe a change to a workflow could save repeated entry. Or you’ve spotted a small improvement that would make a screen clearer. This is a place to tell us.

You don’t need to write a technical specification. Start with what you’re trying to do and what would make it easier.

Four ways to share an idea

  • New Certificates: tell us about a certificate you’d like Certly to support.
  • New Features: suggest something useful to add.
  • Improvements: share a better way an existing part of Certly could work.
  • General Feedback: tell us what you think.

You can select more than one category and add more than one suggestion. Keep each idea separate so it’s easy for the team to understand.

How to suggest a feature

  1. Visit certly.co.uk and tap Suggest a Feature.
  2. Select the categories that fit your ideas.
  3. Write your suggestion. Use + Add Another Suggestion if you have more to share.
  4. Add your name and email address, then select Submit suggestion form.

A useful suggestion starts with the job

Tell us what you do today, what gets in the way and what you’d like the result to be. If you’re suggesting a certificate, its name and the kind of work it covers will help.

For example: “When I’m entering readings on site, I’d like to…” gives us more to work with than a feature name on its own. If an example certificate or document would help us understand, the team can contact you to discuss it.

Reviewed privately by the Certly team

Your suggestions are reviewed privately and aren’t displayed publicly. We ask for your email so we can follow up if we need more information or want to discuss how an idea could work. Submitting a suggestion doesn’t sign you up to marketing emails.

Suggestions help us understand what matters to people using electrical certification software. Every idea needs to be considered alongside the wider product, so a suggestion isn’t a promise of a particular release or date.
