Certly was created with one simple goal: make electrical certification faster, easier and less frustrating for electricians.
As electricians ourselves, we know the frustrations that come with traditional electrical certification software. Repetitive data entry, unnecessary clicks and time-consuming workflows all add up when you're trying to get certificates completed.
But building Certly isn't just about solving the problems we've experienced.
It's about listening to the electricians actually using it.

Building Better EICR Software
Completing an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) can involve a huge amount of information, particularly on larger installations.
Good EICR software shouldn't make that process harder.
That's why we're continually looking at ways to reduce repetitive input, improve workflows and make electrical inspection and testing more efficient.
Features such as drag-and-drop circuit reordering are a perfect example. It's a simple idea, but when circuits need changing, reorganising or inserting, being able to move them quickly can make a real difference.
It's these practical improvements that we're interested in building.
From Electrician Requests to New Certly Features
We're already receiving ideas and requests from electricians using Certly, and those conversations are helping influence our development.
That includes improvements to existing workflows as well as requests for features such as additional templates, new ways to manage certificate information and Certly on desktop.
Not every request can appear overnight, and not every suggestion will necessarily be right for Certly.
But every request gives us more insight into how electricians actually want to work.
And that's incredibly valuable.
Electrical Certificate Software That Keeps Evolving
We don't see Certly as a finished product.
As more electricians and electrical contractors use the app, we'll continue learning what works well, what could be improved and what would make completing electrical certificates even easier.
That means Certly's EICR software, electrical certificate workflows and inspection and testing features will continue to evolve.
We want to build software around real-world electrical work — rather than expecting electricians to change the way they work to fit their software.
